Mr. Eyton is a corporate director and currently serves as a director of the Vancouver International Airport Authority, Trimac Transportation Services Inc., and as a trustee of Trimac Income Fund and the Canadian Hotel Income Properties Real Estate Investment Trust. He has previously served on numerous corporate boards including Clarica Life Insurance Company, Brascan Ltd., IBM Canada Ltd., WIC – Western International Communications Ltd., and Prudential Steel Ltd. Mr. Eyton Served as Chairman and Executive Officer of Canadian Airlines International from 1987 to 1989 at which time he became Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and director of both the airline and the holding company in 1995.

Ian H. Stewart, Q.C. is a retired member of the Law Society of British Columbia, President of Appin Investments Limited., and other B.C. companies. Mr. Stewart is a former alderman of the City of Victoria, a former member and longtime Chair of the Board of Governors of the University of Victoria, an Honorary Patron of the University of Victoria, a past director of the British Columbia Achievement Foundation, the former owner of the largest Honda Dealership on Vancouver Island, a director of Thirfty Foods of Victoria, and is a past president of the New Car Dealers Association of BC. He is a well known community leader in Victoria and has been actively involved with many charitable and philanthropic organizations. Mr. Stewart has a long record of service as a director of many other Canadian companies including Rogers Communications Inc. He is a recipient of the Commemorative Medal for the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada, The Order of St. John, and the Queens Jubilee Medal. Mr. Stewart holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of British Columbia and an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from the University of Victoria.

Simon Chong is a Managing Partner at Georgian Partners. Simon is a 20 year technology operator with proven executive experience across sales, marketing, alliances and all software functional operations. Simon was previously Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing at DWL Inc., an enterprise software company that was acquired by IBM in 2005. At IBM, Simon became the Worldwide Director of Sales, Information Solutions within the IBM Software Group, where he was responsible for the revenue of four acquired enterprise software companies. After the acquisition of DWL by IBM in 2005, Simon tripled DWL software revenue – and doubled overall revenue – in the first year. Simon holds an MBA from Henley Management School in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Reed is the principal of two management-consulting firms, JH Reed & Associates, Ltd., specializing in governance and strategy, and Synachor Management Inc., which concentrates on business development, strategy, marketing, and change. His clients include a wide range of public and private organizations, such as major crown corporations, universities, colleges, and national companies in the retail and service sectors. Since 1999 he has been a senior advisor on strategy for the CEO of Hudson’s Bay Company. He has assisted these organizations by developing strategies to improve capacity, sustainability, and market position. In addition, Mr. Reed provides strategic advice to corporations interested in major sponsorship opportunities with domestic or international sporting events.

Mr. French’s background is in the motion picture and TV industry. He attended the California Institute of Technology in California, is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and has an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps. His career began in artist’s management, as the co-founder of The Hugh French Agency, Inc. and the Executive VP of its successor company, Chartwell Artists Ltd. In order, he later served as the VP in charge of domestic production for Paramount Pictures, President of Distribution for Tandem/TAT Productions, Chairman of Hal Roach Studios, and founder/president of a private major market TV station management company.

John Berton has been a co-founder and managing partner of Georgian Partners since 2008. John has extensive investment and operating experience in high growth emerging companies across a diverse range of industries.

Prior to Georgian Partners, John spent eleven years at VRG Capital where he was responsible for winning and accelerating a broad range of investments through due diligence, deal structuring, fundraising, M&A, operations support and post-investment strategic support. In that role, John became the CEO of a high growth technology company in the events industry.
